What is Overweight and Obesity?

BMI is a person's weight divided by the square of height in metres. BMI does not measure body fat directly, but research has shown that in general BMI is an inexpensive and easy-to-perform method of screening for weight category, for example underweight, normal or healthy weight, overweight, and obesity.

Why are we getting fatter?

Our lifestyles are changing and we are busier than we were years ago, working longer hours etc so we eat more fast & sugary food or grab something on the go.
