Diet

Remember the golden rule ........

If the amount of energy (calories) in your diet is greater than the energy you expend, the excess will be stored in your body as fat, whatever type of food it came from. To lose weight you need to reduce your food intake and increase physical activity. To lose 1lb per week you need to use 3500 calories more than you eat.

Here are some tools to help you achieve your weight loss goals:

Do the recommended amount of exercise

To lose 1lb you need to use 3500 more calories than you eat, 500 calories per day (every day). If you did went swimming or jogging for 1 hour for 5 days in a week (5 x 700=3500 calories) and didn’t change your diet you should lose 1lb. Obviously doing that exercise and dieting you’d lose weight faster.- 300 minutes of moderate intensity exercise per week.

Eat a calorie controlled diet.

For a sustainable and healthy weight management you need to understand how much and what sort of food you're consuming.
